Andrew Hibma has been with New Hope Community Bikes for 8 years now as the Executive Director. He is passionate about cycling as an activity that strengthens communities, preserves the environment and supports healthy active lifestyles. He and his wife live in East Hamilton with their 2 and 4 year old sons who have begun to love bikes as much as their Dad.

Andrew will be sharing about the story of New Hope Community Bikes, including discussions about a recent project in the remote northern indigenous community of Pikangikum.

New Hope Community Bikes started in 2008 as an initiative of New Hope Church. We are a registered charity and social enterprise that seeks to get more people on affordable, reliable bicycles and provide employment and job training opportunities for youth.
