Canyon Clean-up

May 30:  Canyon Clean-up
(no lunch meeting)

We are to meet at Logan Golf and Country Club parking lot at 4:00 p.m. to pickup the safety orange vest and trash bags before heading up the canyon to pickup the winter trash in our 2 mile section of Highway 89.

• Dinner follows at Jay and Leslie Black's cabin.­­­­­­­­­­­­ The club will furnish water and soft drinks; if you want something else to drink it’s BYOB. 
• All Club members are invited to join us at Jay's Black's cabin in Logan Canyon at 5:30 p.m.

The Black’s cabin address is Chokecherry #2. From Logan, take Highway 89 to a mile past mile marker 468 (about a mile beyond Card Canyon, and just before Preston Valley campground (sorry--the mile marker 469 has been knocked down)). Turn right and cross the bridge at the Chokecherry picnic and summer homes area.

From the east take a left into the Chokecherry parking area just past the Preston Valley campground.

Please park in the parking area near the picnic site / outhouse and walk about 400 yards to The Cabin. Jay will have signs posted pointing the way. Those who cannot walk that far can drive across the bridge, take the first left, hang a second left, and go down the hill. Jay's is the tan cabin by the river. There is only room for 3 or 4 cars at the cabin, so please allow that area for those who need to drive in.

Again, we will not be meeting at noon.

The cookout is free for members and those who help with the cleanup, It is $12 for non-working guests.

Please register by NOON on Wednesday the 29^th so we have enough food for all.
