Our first restaurant 맛집 fundraiser! Thank you everyone for coming out!!

  • SYLC's Role:
    • As the main hosts of this event our team was responsible for all tasks ranging from marketing/advertising, and securing the venue.
  • Event Results & Outcome
    • Monetary
      • We sold 586,000 KRW in food and beverage sales.
      • 50% of which (293,000 KRW) was split with the venue, Paco Loco.
      • We then received 168,000 KRW in generous donations from several event attendees that included Rotarians. 
      • Our club's profit was 461,000 KRW to use for our #BetterSeoul project
    • Marketing
    • Our Facebook event reached over 3,300 people. 
    • Attendance
    • 40+ event attendees throughout the evening 
 
  • SYLC Project Team:
    • Sayel Cortez, Fundraising Chair - organized the venue
    • Jiyon Shin, VP & Fundraising Co-Chair - oversaw the planning and execution of logistics and operations for the event, coordinated volunteers, designed and printed advertisements for event.
    • Sandra Lee, Treasurer - coordinated payments/payees list, managed cash-flow and ensured responsibility of cash
    • Matt Hinshaw, Fundraising Committee Member - assisted with printing materials and showing around #BetterSeoul board/advertising and marketing at the event
    • KJ Kwak, SYLC Member - assisted with soliciting feedback from attendees on #BetterSeoul project board, assisted with setting up
    • Ben Kim, Community Service Chair - assisted with setting up, taking orders, and distributing food
    • Dan Kang, Programming & Professional Development Chair - designed poster
    • Ray Chetti, President - set up Facebook event & Google Form, marketing
