Rotary Helps Out Alzheimer’s

Manitoba Alzheimer’s Society South Eastman Regional Director, Leona Doerksen visited the South Eastman Club today and spoke about the Memory Walk taking place June 12th, which raises money for Alzheimer’s services and programs.  Doerksen is working with limited funding and it was made aware that there was a need for funds for publicizing the walk.  Rotary Club of South Eastman President Mike Lynes and Past President Ed Peterson presented Doerksen with a cheque for $2000 to help support the event and the worthy cause.
