The Rotary Club of Kenora is deeply saddened to learn of the devastating fire at Kenora’s A&W restaurant. Our heartfelt thoughts and sympathies go out to the Nickle family, their dedicated staff, suppliers, loyal customers, and everyone affected by this loss.
A&W has long been more than just a restaurant in our community. It has been a shining example of generosity, kindness, and community spirit. Their outstanding fundraising efforts for the MS Society, earning recognition as the top fundraiser of A&W restaurants in Canada, are a testament to their commitment to helping others.
The Rotary Club of Kenora has been fortunate to receive their generous support over the years. From our Rotary Online Auction to our Rotary New Year’s Eve Family Event and many other initiatives, A&W has always been there to lend a helping hand.
Today, our community stands with a business and family that have given so much to Kenora.
To the Nickle family and the entire A&W team, please know how much you are appreciated. We are thinking of you during this difficult time and hope to see you back serving our community soon.
With heartfelt support,
The Rotary Club of Kenora
