Help the Rotary Club of Kenora  create an Urban Forest in the City of Kenora, Canada! Canada is celebrating 150th Anniversary, Rotary in Kenora is soon to celebrate 100 years of serving our community and beyond. To celebrate, we'd like to plant a forest and raise some funds to continue doing good in the world!

For a donation of $10, you can be a part of making our dream a reality, and have a tree seedling planted in your honour!

Red Pine trees grow quite quickly in our Northern climate, and are disease resistant. The Rotary Club of Kenora's President, Gord LeMaistre is a Registered Professional Forester with 40 years experience in the forest industry. He has planted thousands of trees and will ensure that the seedlings are planted correctly in a location conducive to the success of the forest.

Our Rotary Club works hard to improve living conditions for people around the world and an urban forest in our city would be a way for us to thank our community for all the support they have given over the past nearly 100 years so that we may help the less fortunate.

First planting will take place Sunday May 28, 2017. Only 200 seedlings are available for purchase.

Thank you for supporting our efforts to make our world a better place for everyone!
