Thank you to champion Lloyd Mack for organizing and making the first Art Off the Wall sale a huge success. Many volunteers, many hours of cleaning, collecting, picking up art and repairing made this a true club fundraiser. Over heard at the auction " this is just beautiful", this is a fun event" "We should do this again".
Also a thank you to Bestway Rentals for the fencing, thank you Mike Szajewski for setting up the on line auction and the use of the Keewatin Curling Club , and also the Discovery Centre for allowing us to collect all the art. More than 2 dozen Rotarians and friends gave 250 hours as volunteers to make this event a reality. This Off the Wall Art added almost $5000 to our club.Money is ear marked in support of local projects.
