"Rotary Club of Kenora is very excited to be a part of the Chamber’s Home Show!

We have participated for many years, using our booth as a place to promote our club and showcase the projects and programs we are working on.

This year we have an added responsibility, as we will be helping to operate the lift to move people needing assistance to the lower floor and back up and we will be running a 50/50 draw as well!

July 1, 2019 is the beginning of the Rotary Club of Kenora’s centennial year! 100 years of doing good in Kenora and the world!

Our booth will showcase many of the local and international projects we have completed over the past 100 years, as well as offering information on our centennial project the new Rotary Splash Park at Norman Park.

July 1st is also when the Rotary Club, in partnership with Kenora Special Olympics, will hold the Lucky Duck Race at McLeod Park. Tickets will be on sale for the Lucky Duck Race at our booth, located just inside the entry doors to the arena.

The most recent service project initiated by the club is the Nutrition on Weekends (NOW) Kenora pilot project, in response to a Rotary district goal of the elimination of child poverty. The Rotary Club of Kenora has facilitated the introduction of the first pilot NOW program in Kenora.

Ongoing community support of our fundraisers ensures the success of our projects.

We thank local businesses and individuals for their donation of goods and services for our annual Charity Online Auction. Bidding in the auction continues until May 8 at www.kenorarotary.ca

See you at the Home Show!"
