The meeting started with the land acknowledgement.
We have no birthdays, one anniversary, Darcie & Alistair Thompson on the Nov 7th, no makeups, no visiting Rotarian- Eva Vida, one guest-Debbie Sinclair.
There is no correspondence.
Last week’s CTBO winner, Debbie Sinclair, was present to make this week’s draw. Prio to that, she was presented with a cheque in the amount of $654.00.
Debbie drew Brooke Mclean’s ticket. Brooke chose number 22, which revealed the 2 of hearts. Brooke wins the consolation prize in the amount of $675.00, and will be invited to make next week’s draw. Next week’s jackpot starts at $15453.00. Don D will sell at no frills on Wednesday, John will sell there Thursday, and Denis will be there Friday, the Roadrunner swim club will sell there on Saturday. Don Mckay will sell at the Grub Box on Thursday Peter will sell Friday, and Don Mckay will sell again on Saturday. Margaret will sell at the Otineka mall on Friday. Don Dunnigan blew his own horn about being the top seller, and will be heavily fined next week.
Cully will represent Rotary at the Roadrunner swim meet on November 18th.
The club banners are not in seacan. Does anyone know where they are?
We will be bartending and cleanup at UCN on the 7th and could use a few more volunteers.
50/50 Linda got drawn. No luck.
The meeting ended with the four- way test.
