6. Presentations: Bonnie and Rob White regarding Blizzard and Bill Bannock. The two ladies expressed a desire to run the Bill Bannock Fishing Derby. The club was
     asked if they could act as an information resource. Although there was no objection to this and acting as a source of information was not a concern, it was suggested that the actual
     Bill Bannock event as run before may not generate the revenue it had in the past. There was a question about participation of Blizzard players. The response was the derby would
     need to take place at a time when the regular season was under way and the players were in town. Once the playoffs start the team focuses on that if they make the postseason or
     leave for home if not. An online option called Fish Donkey was suggested as an alternative

     a. Catch The Big One –
Clifford Nabess had his ticket pulled from the drum. When envelope 32 was opened the 7 of diamonds was revealed making Clifford this week’s
         consolation winner of $592. The jackpot for next week will $9897.50
           i. POS training session – When Denis gets back
          ii. The eighth sentence in the New Rules states If the revealed card is the ACE OF SPADES, the weekly winner will also win the accumulating prize (30% of the accumulated
               weekly sales). This suggests that the person will win 30% of the sales for this week as well.

      a. UCN Linkages Tuesday, Oct 21st - Fully staffed
      b. Stick on decals for polio donation boxes, car windows – Ken has taken charge of this
      c. Evening Meetings - The club decided not to continue with evening meetings as there was not the expected take up at the evening meetings that happened before.
      d. OWL- to be discussed later on
      e. Social meetings – The club opted to not move forward on this topic. There was a discussion of planning something for sometime in November as Wayne Jacobsen, District 
          5550 Governor will be in the area.
      f. New meeting place - The executive has not met to make a decision on this. Can we decide this as a group today? Most venues hosting Rotary meetings have signage saying
         “Rotary meets here”. The presidents’ board from the Wescana could serve as this with some modification. The CTBO cardboard could be locked inside this.
11. New Business   
       a. The Pas Association for Human Development charitable organization and former parent company of The Workplace and New to You will be disbursing funds to Charitable 
           Organizations in the Tri-Community Area via an application and granting process. If you think your organization or several organizations partnering together might qualify
           for a grant, please request the application form from tpahdapps@gmail.com. Applications must be submitted by October31, 2025.Thank you for your interest.
