9. Board of Directors Report
       a. Financial Assistance Application:  Tri-Community Minor Baseball.  The Board had agreed to a $1,500 contribution but this was not fully discussed and approved on April 21 as there were additional questions.  It had been agreed that this issue would be discussed at today’s meeting.  After some discussion, it was agreed to continue with the amount originally approved.
Motion:  Crystal Morrish/Denis Watier:  To contribute $1,500 to Tri-Community Minor Baseball once they have the full funding necessary for the pitching machine/batting cage.  Agreed (Monica will advise the applicants).

10.  Unfinished Business:
         a.  Funding:  i.  Agricultural Society – Rodeo 2026.  Financial Application has been received and will be discussed by the Board.  Monica will check with Don McKay to determine if his return date is set yet or if there will be a Board meeting called to move this forward.

ii.  The Club had agreed to contribute $6,000 to the Kennedy family for the accessible bed for their daughter, and has now determined which funds will be used for this.  Monica will confirm with the family that this contribution will be available once they confirm full funding has been determined for the purchase.

               b. Rotary lobster pots – Peter and Michael will arrange removal of the pots from the Legion.  Peter is awaiting further information from Jim Berschied to see whether it is feasible for the Agricultural Society to use the pots, and will report back to the Club.

              c.  Meals on Wheels.  The calendar for May is not yet filled – please consider volunteering to deliver Meals on Wheels in May, as there are still a number of days not covered.

11. New Business –  a. Wednesday Morning Radio Spot:  Kent will take care of the radio spot tomorrow morning, and the Club “volunteered” him for the May 13 spot as well.  If he is not available to take care of that date, we will find another person to cover.  We may also need to cover the radio spot for May 20, depending if Don McKay is available or not.
