The minutes are unavailable at this writing so we apologise if we miss something

Board Meeting
It was agreed that the following budgeted amounts would be paid out. Tim would invite the recipients to the next meeting.
UCN Dentistry Guatamala program $ 3000.00
Handivan                               $ 1000.00
Air Cadets                             $ 2000.00
Northern Gateway Chaplancy     $ 2000.00
It was agreed that a request to have the garbage cleaned up around the foodsite
Farm Safety Program                     $ 2000.00
Shelterbox                            $ 1200.00

RI President has asked for further assistance for the earthquake in Nepal. We would ask for further donations to Shelterbox from the membership and the club would increase the amount received to $ 1200.00 and provide a second Shelterbox.
The request for someone to look after the tent rentals was unanswered- therefore agreed that we would suggest some of the tents would be sold and we would discontinue the rentals

A request for the use of a tent was received from OCN House of Prayers. This was deferred as to the outcome of the club decision.

A request for financial assistance was received from a second hockey player. This was also deferred. Mike Wyman was going to discuss this with the applicant.

Pandora Furniss submitted a report on the Youth Program activities. She has requested two people to assist her with this program.

A request for $ 3000.00 was received from (can’t remember the name) for replacement equipment lost during the fire at the school. They didn’t have insurance. Mike Wyman is checking on this.

In the past we had agreed to take 10% of event profits and add them to the Project Account. We decided not to do it with Bill Bannock as there are no major projects in the near future.

Regular Meeting

The club was informed of the Board meeting discussions
It was suggested that the Handivan might warrant more equal consideration than the Dentistry Program. We explained that Tim would consider this when preparing his budget for next year.

Rick has contacted the RC of Flin Flon for their support as they participated in this program last year.

We received $ 500.00 from the membership for a second Shelterbox. It was agreed that the club would provide the additional $ 700.00 and we would purchase two boxes.
The discussion regarding the Tent rentals ended with an agreement to look at either selling tents at $ 1000.00 or donating them to a charity group such as the cadets. Tim is going to talk to Doug Long.

We have received a call from Ken Kelly. He is willing to look after tent rentals for another year. He has two people to look after setting them up.
This will be discussed at the next meeting.

Ken Kelly also suggested that we need to explain to potential members the responsibilities of joining the club. Rick will look into this.

A financial report was given. The decision to not increase the Project Fund was opposed. We agreed to look into the profits and add them to the fund.

A question was asked regarding the funding for the Walking Path. It was explained that this was a separate account presently at the Royal Bank. Kent Whaley is in the midst of transferring this to the Westoba. Connie will start a separate account under Rotarel for the Walking Path.
