The meeting started with the land acknowledgement.
We have three birthdays, Ken, Carole and Robin, no anniversaries, no makeups, no visiting Rotarians, one guest for the last time – Val Uffelman.
CTBO – 710 tickets were sold this week.  Olive Whitehead? Had her ticket drawn.  She chose number 5, which revealed the seven of spades.  Olive wins the consolation prize of $710.00.  Next week’s jackpot starts at $18,566.00.

There is no new business.
Unfinished Business – The social evening will be held on June 29th at the airport hall.  Festivities will begin with games at 4 p.m. The bar will open at 5:30, and dinner will be served at 6:30.  Gary has taken the reins to organize the evening.
We are in our final week of delivering Meals on Wheels, our next delivery month is November.
The radio pledge a thon for New to You will be on June 13 and 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. each day.  A table will be at the uptown mall from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to issue receipts.
There is no update on the mural.
A host family is required in August for Joao, our exchange student from Brazil.
The newest Rotary member in the world, Val Uffelman, was installed.  Welcome Val!!
We will take a break from selling CTBO tickets in July and August. 
Kent advised that $10k has been raised for the Canada Day fireworks.  He is confident that $15k will be raised and will give Ed the go ahead to order $15k worth of fireworks.  The town will be hosting a meeting at the A & W at 2 p.m. to day to discuss Canada Day celebrations.
Tables at Sunset Park have been damaged.
    
50/50 – After trading tickets with Don D., Linda’s was drawn, no luck.  She will be sgt. next week.
The meeting concluded with the four -way test.
