The meeting commenced with the land acknowledgement.
We have one birthday- happy birthday to John; no anniversaries, no makeups, no visiting Rotarians, one guest – Rob White.
Rob White, president of the Blizzard hockey club, gave a very informative presentation on the ins and outs of managing a junior a hockey club. He is anticipating that next year the team’s name can be changed to the Norman Blizzard, with the hope of garnering support from all of northern Manitoba. He spoke on the team bus and the opportunity to advertise on the team bus as a means of fundraising. He is hoping that service clubs (including Rotary) buy into the hockey club.
CTBO – Linda Matchett’s ticket was drawn. She picked number 11, which revealed the Queen of Clubs. She will receive the consolation prize of $719.00. Next week’s jackpot will start at $6078.50.

President Don distributed audio and text of our radio spots. He suggested that maybe we should have an historical spot?
Estevan’s 100th – Monica and Jerry need to RSVP by March 15. Sponsorship dollars from the club will need to be decided ASAP.
Meals on Wheels – vulnerable persons check need to go to Monica and Don Mc.
Jace will be giving a presentation on Meals on Wheels in the near future.
50/50 Ken’s ticket was drawn, but sadly no luck. He will fill the position of Sgt. at next week’s meeting.
