              This resulted in envelope # 5 being opened to reveal the 3 of diamonds. Debra gets to claim the
              consolation prize of $825 and the jackpot will climb to $23 791 for the Feb 3rd draw.

6. Presentations: Prior to the presentation Gary thanked Andre for helping out with the Clearwater lake Marathon
     for the past three years. Andre has stepped up to help with a variety of jobs during this time.
     Andre Murphy discussed the town’s plans in a variety of areas such as health care, policing, taxation,
     housing, homelessness
7. Correspondence: I received an email from Wayne Jacobsen asking if anyone was interested in joining the district
     leadership team. They are looking for someone from either the Pas, Flin Flon or Thompson.

       c. MBCI bursary wording has been sent to Merrilee Hamilton at MBCI as confirmed. Our thoughts regarding the 3
           vocational trades bursary were also mentioned
       d. Salute to Trappers’ - 3” by 5” $150 DONE!
       e. GG#2685973 - $2,000 to be received by RC of Saskatoon North by Jan 3

11. New Business:
       a.
Trappers’ Festival parade _ We will be handing out hot chocolate to those brave souls who are around at the end of
           the parade. We are getting to the point where it is hard to staff this. The club is also not favouring always ending at
           the GLMC. Voicing our concerns even suggesting altering the end location from year to year has not resulted in any
           movement on this.
       b. District 5550 Leadership Seminar (DLS2026) registration is now open.
           Dates are Friday, March 27 - 6:00 PM to 8:45 PM
                           Saturday, March 28 – 8:30 AM to 4:50 PM
                          Sunday, March 29 – 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM
          It was suggested that DLS is the training vehicle for the presidency and club operation.
          The club will need a new president as of July 1 so someone other than Don McKay should consider attending the seminar.
          Don will be attending virtually.
