1)           Financial support in the amount of $1000.00 for the Salomanowicz family was approved by the executive.  Cheque will be issued by treasurer.
2)           Motion:  That the Rotary Club of The Pas donate $1250.00 to The Pas Emergency Medical Services for the purchase of a new Snowbulance, which replaces existing unit funded by the Rotary Club of The Pas.

                             Second:  Sandy Banks
                             Carried
3)           Rotary Career Symposium, Winnipeg;  March 14-16, 2017.  We have a request for assistance to help defray some of the costs of taking up to 43 children to Winnipeg to attend this symposium.  Total cost is $7800.00, which, by our reckoning comes out to about $200.00 per participant, which is not a huge amount for any family.  The executive has asked for more information so this has been deferred for 1 week.
4)           Homecoming 2017:  The executive agreed that the club could help out with a BBQ or fish fry dependent on the availability or Rotarians, and whether we can access the equipment from the Flin Flon Rotary club.  Need commitments from Rotarians.  Rick will speak to Flin Flon regarding equipment.
5)           Discussion of a possible Spring Dance at the end of May.  Look at a country rock type musical theme, or a 70’ 80’s cover band.  Sharain Jones exploring options.
6)           Don Murphy – the AED unit has been located at the Wescana Inn.  Don will take care of getting a new battery for the unit as the old one has expired.
7)           Winterfest;  March 17-19, 2017:  The Exchange students will be here for the weekend.  We need a new social event for the club, so suggestion is to combine the social event for spouses and possible new members with a supper for the exchange students on Saturday March 18 at the Wescana Inn banquet room.  Connie Chartrand suggested that all members bring a guest or guests who would consider being members of the club, as well as spouses.  Jordan Krost has a line on a musician who can provide some musical entertainment.  Further info to come as available.
8)           Jeremy Wachal;  Dave Roberts from the Kinsman of The Pas approached club re: participating in the Drive One for the Community Event again this year.  Last year was poorly attended by club members, and we will require a strong commitment this year for this to work.  Last year Kinsman given all revenues because of poor support from Rotary, so not worthwhile if not supported.
10)         We need a president elect for next year.  2 people are considering this and Rick says they will have an answer by January 31, 2017.
11)         Chloe Dorion:  Chloe has received the Rhino tickets for the draw at Bill Bannock.  2 of the units are on display, one at the Wescana and the other at the Kikiwak Inn.  There are 16500 tickets printed this year, and all members are to take at least one book to try to sell.  Chloe distributed some tickets to members.
12) The balance of $ 2000, for the special hearing aid has been covered. Mike W. has spoken to them and it is agree that if there is a change in price since the application was put in; the club could look at making up the difference.
