1) There will be a presentation by Lynda Geswin and Rachel Therrien of Opasquia School next week in support of an application for assistance for a student in Kelsey School Division.
2) Bill Bannock: Rick Hubbs: Tickets and Posters are available for distribution. There have been some on line sales so far. The early bird deadline is now March 31, 2017.
3) Don Dunnigan: re: ongoing lottery idea. Still working on this – would be similar to chase the ace etc, but on an ongoing community wide basis. Liquor and Gaming Authority not totally supportive of the idea at this point but Don is continuing to work on the idea.
4) Peter Totte: It is five weeks until Trapper’s Festival. We need to locate the tubs used to serve hot chocolate after the parade – last used by TPDRC at Santa Claus parade. Don Murphy and Peter will attend organizational meeting of Trapper’s and we will continue to run the preliminaries and windup. The Rotary Club will again run the Family Ice Fishing Derby on the Saturday.
5) Gary Morrish: broached the idea of building a proper bridge to go over pressure ridges at the pump house area during Bill Bannock. Discussion of logistics and plans, Gary to continue to investigate options, assisted by Blair Patience.
6) Meeting adjourned with 4 way test.
