–Round 9 Draw 20 ticket to be drawn TODAY – Debra Patenaude joined the
meeting to collect her $825 cheque as last week’s consolation winner. Debra also did us the
favour of pulling a ticket belonging to Lee Manych from the drum. As a result of this
envelope #41 was opened to reveal the 7 of spades netting Lee $852 as this week’s
consolation winner. This also means that the game will continue with the jackpot being
$25 069 for the Feb 10th draw.

6. Presentations: Rod Berezowecki presented on the Northern Lights Seniors’ Housing Project.
    After the presentation Rod answered many questions. Rod was asking Rotary to financially
    support preliminary work required to start the project. A decision will be made on the 17
    and presented to the club for approval on the 26.

10. Unfinished Business:

       a. Touques – Stitchworx has royal blue touques with a gold band for a brim. The pom pom is a mix
           of both colours. The lettering would need to be blue to match the colour of the touque body. I will
           be asking for a sample to show the club prior to ordering the 10 we decided on.
       b. Presidential board plaque – The brass Rotary wheel and the mock up has been taken to Stitchworx
           to see if they can make something and the cost of doing so. No word to date
       c. Trappers’ Festival parade – Kent, Doug, Denis, Robin are slated to distribute hot chocolate to those
           brave souls who are waiting at the end of the parade. There may have been a fifth person but I what
            I wrote does not connect to a name “Brom or Bron”???
       d. District 5550 Leadership Seminar (DLS 2026) registration is now open.
           Dates are Friday, March 27 - 6:00 PM to 8:45 PM
                           Saturday, March 28 – 8:30 AM to 4:50 PM
                           Sunday, March 29 – 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM
          Again it was mentioned that the club needs a president as of July 1 and DLS is the training vehicle
          for the job. Don McKay will be attending virtually from Winnipeg on Sat and Sun. Friday is a travel
          day.

Letter from Wayne Jocobsen regarding assistance to Rotary Club(s) of Minneapolis (copy of email
            attached to this email) The club opted not to participate in this.
         b. Request from Rotary Club of Thompson to sponsor a Thompson exchange student - The club opted
              not to participate in this.
         c. Trappers’ Festival has requested help with the dog races this year.  The club opted not to participate
             in this. It was mentioned that anyone who wishes to help out should contact the Trappers’ Festival
             Committee.
