3. Visiting Rotarians: None.
4. Birthdays and Anniversaries August 7th to August 13th
    Anniversaries : Vera & Don Dunnigan - August 11th, 45 years
    Birthdays : Doug Long - August 8th
5. Approval of Minutes : July 30th
6. Presentations: None.
7. Correspondence: We received a Thank You card from one of the MBCI graduating students for the Rotary bursary he received
    from our Club.
8. Committee Reports: None.
9. Board of Directors Report: The Board will meet next week and a report will be provided after that meeting.
10. New Business:
      a. Confirmation of the Rotary Club of The Pas Board members for July 1st, 2024 to June 30th, 2025 – we need to finalize this
           list.
      b. Blair Patience advised the Club that Dena Johnson required medical attention and is raising money for medical expenses.   
          She requires heart surgery and will need to stay in Winnipeg for some time. Blair proposes the Rotary Club provide funding
          up to $1,500 to support Dena’s medical expenses as she is not able to support these costs. Rick mentioned that we should have
          the formal application – Monica said that she would prepare the forms necessary.
 
          MOTION: Don Murphy/Rick Hubbs - That The Rotary Club of The Pas support Dena Johnson’s medical expenses in the
                             amount of $2,000 from the Critically Ill Fund.
11. Unfinished Business:
       a. Mural related items. Monica will check again with the O’Toole family to see if they are interested in attending the unveiling
           of the new mural. The Club agreed that we would pay up to $1,000 in expenses for John Ellenberger to attend. We will plan
           for September 24. Kent will notify DMC to ensure they can also be available. Robin noted that he and Ken Kelly looked
           again at the mural supporting structure and it does still need to be secured. He can assist with ensuring thisnhappens before
           winter.
        b. Patronage booklet. This will be discussed further when Don Dunnigan is available.
        c. Fish Fry - September 21st. Don McKay will be away late August and early September, so will ensure a checklist is ready to
            go in order that we can have everything in place for the 21st of September. Monica will contact business for prize donations.
            If we have some larger prizes again this year, we will consider a silent or live auction.
12. Club Banners: Don McKay will provide an update when additional information is available. He will check with Contempra and
            provide a report back once he has done so.
13. Exchange Student and RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award): Julia McKay will invite the students who attended RYLA
       to attend a Rotary meeting and share their experience once they are back in school in September.
14. Installation of New Members: None.
