Charter Members

Although the Rotary Club of Burleigh Heads Inc. was chartered on 3 October, 1955, due to some early administrative delays, the official Charter was not presented until 9 April, 1956, at a ceremony conducted by then District Governor (Sir) Lionel McCrae.

That night, 22 pioneering members gathered at Justin Hall to celebrate the beginning of what would become seven decades of community service.
