Each year, the Rotary Club of Sylvan Lake Awards 6 scholarships valued at $1000 each to students from the communities of Sylvan Lake, Bentley and Eckville who are graduating. This award is based on citizenship. Students must highlight their community involvement and volunteerism while demonstrating a commitment to bettering our world by discussing how their actions demonstrate the values of Rotary in relation to either the Rotary Motto (Service above Self) or the 4 Way Test. Students must be attending post-secondary within 2 years of graduating from high school in order to qualify. Please complete the following form and a 400-750 word essay OR 2-5 minute carefully rehearsed video and email to: arouthier@cesd73.ca AND sylvanlakerotary5360@outlook.com by May 31 of your graduating year.
