Vocational Service

Our job is to ensure that the 4 way test is well fostered in the minds of our members, and the youth of our community.  Through Vocational Service, we work to promote high ethical standards in all Rotarian vocations, as well as work with youth to help them make career decisions. 

We also work with sending teens to development camps like RYPEN (Rotary Youth Program of ENrichment) and RYLA (Rotary Youth Leader Awards).  Additionally Rotarians work to provide mentorship to teens looking to understand their career path.

The Sylvan Lake Rotary Club proudly sponsors the Humanitarian Awards each year at our local High School.  the award goes to a student who is active in volunteer work while in school, as well as acedemic achievements.

Our future goal is to have plaques of the 4 way test created for the local schools, to foster Rotary ideals in our youth.
