Paul deHaan : Banking Account Manager

Paul deHaan is a commercial account manager for Community Savings. He has been in the banking business for nine years. As a commercial account manager, Paul is responsible for analyzing, preparing and approving credit for commercial facilities. He also prepares and recommends credit for applications, which exceed his designated authority. Paul deals with revolving lines of credit, term loans and commercial mortgages. He finds the diversity of his job to be his most interesting challenge. Persons who are analytical, systematic, adaptable, confident and enjoy being a team player would be suited to as career in banking. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a definite asset. The job also offers the opportunity to problem solve and make decisions. A Bachelor of Commerce Degree is preferred but any post secondary education will be an asset and prove to be beneficial in establishing a career in banking/finance.
