Update on the District's Annual Foundation Walk/Foundation Fundraiser
Due to Covid-19 issues, the District has cancelled the Annual Foundation Walk scheduled to be held in Canton on May 9th. In its place, the District suggests we do something locally in the spirit of the walk, posting pictures of what we do on our Facebook page.
Our Club's Plan
President Diana will do a solo walk on May 9th along her usual walking route. Any member wishing to "join her virtually" is invited to take a walk on this day at a location of your choosing.
As in the past, our Club will match Paul Harris Fellow Points for any donation you make to the Rotary Foundation in the amount of $25 or more.
If you are able to make a donation this year, please use one of the following methods:
- If you want to pay by check: Write a check to the Rotary Foundation and mail it to Mariko at 1240 Harris Drive, Watertown, NY 13601, so that she receives it by Wednesday, May 6th.
- If you want to pay online, do so via RotaryDirect. Since the Club does not get reports of donations via RotaryDirect, you must let Mariko know you have done so--and in what amount--if you wish to have the Club match your PHF point.
