Hello amazing parents and carers. Are your young ones aged 6 to 12 and interested in making new friends and doing good in their community? RotaKids is a junior service club, empowers young minds to tackle issues they care about while having a blast!

Here’s why your kids should get involved and help establish the RotaKids Club of Jerrabomberra:

What is RotaKids?
Rotakids clubs provide opportunities to develop leadership skills, learn about teamwork, and contribute to various charitable initiatives. Through RotaKids, kids can get involved:

• Carry out hands-on service projects: Dive into engaging projects that make a difference in your local school and the broader community.

• Make international connections: Connect with other young minds globally, fostering a sense of unity and understanding.

• Develop leadership skills: RotaKids is the perfect playground for building leadership skills in a fun and supportive environment from a young age.

• Have fun!: Join in the excitement and joy that comes with making new friends and making a positive impact.

Why RotaKids?
RotaKids lays the foundation for community service and leadership development. Sponsored by local Rotary clubs, it seamlessly aligns with the ideals of Rotary and serves as a natural progression into Interact.

Increased awareness: RotaKids introduces young students to their community and the world, creating awareness and knowledge building from an early age.

• Engages students in character-building activities, promoting caring, helpful, and respectful behaviour.

• Leadership preparation: Prepares students for leadership roles, instilling the confidence to identify and carry out projects for the benefit of their school and their communities.

Creating positive change with RotaKids
RotaKids clubs aim to contribute to positive change through two service projects annually—one benefiting the school or community, and the other promoting international understanding.

• Service projects: A chance to take action at home and abroad, connect with other young leaders, and get everyone excited about making a difference.
