Phase one consists of gather information. The Committee met with Neil the contractor who initially installed the current equipment. Anton set up the meeting which was very productive. We took photos and discussed with Neil the best way forward. Once we receive the quote I will post it and open the floor for discussion.

​Presented the project proposal to the JRC board of directors. Phase 1 and 2 were approved and phase 3 is under consideration. Our next step is to meet with Queanbeyan Council for approval.

​During our weekly meeting Bruce and Paul presented the project to the club which was accepted with open arms. Now to seek approval.

​This morning Paul contacted members of council to discuss the Jerra Fitness Project. Initial conversations were positive and Paul will set up a face to face meeting with QC in the near future. Things are looking good.

This morning Paul and I met with Queanbeyan Manager Tim to discuss a partnership between Jerra Rotary and Queanbeyan Council to refurbish the exercise trail around Lake Jerra. As you can see the meeting ended with smiles and a firm handshake. Our next step is to get all the paperwork in order and start planning for phase 2. Thank you to Tim, Queanbeyan Council, and my fitness trail committee.

The signs have been approved for purchase with a slight modification since the council logo changed. The new signs should be here in 60 days.
