On Sunday, July 31^st 25 members of the community met to celebrate national tree day with a walk through the bush around Jerrabomberra.

 

 

Queanbeyan Landcare, Molonglo Catchment Group, Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council (QPRC) and local landowners organised the walk as part of the Stringybark to Environ Revegetation project funded by the NSW Environment Trust. The walk took in recent native plantings on the ridges and explored the local vegetarian. National Tree day is an opportunity for all of us to give back to the environment.
