The Queanbeyan and Anglican District Church, Karabar Housing Cooperative and the residents of Beth Shalom offer a massive thank you to the Jerrabomberra and Queanbeyan West Rotary Clubs for their kindness and hard work in bringing life and beauty back into the gardens at Beth Shalom. 

Over recent weeks, Rotary members have dug, weeded, pruned bushes and trees, moved soil, carted rubbish, mulched and planted at the front and in the back yards of six units known as Beth Shalom in Collett Street, Queanbeyan, leased by the Anglican Church to people with limited means.

When the work was finished we enjoyed a lovely BBQ and reflected on what an amazing transformation we’d achieved.  Rotary members showed the rest of us how enjoyable and rewarding working with and giving back to the community can be. We thank them for their amazing support.
