Charter
During January, February and March of 1962 a survey of Waikerie was carried out by the Rotary Club of Loxton to ascertain the interest in forming a Rotary Club for the district of Waikerie.  On Saturday 26th May a meeting was held at the Waikerie Hotel where it was decided to form a provisional club.  At the time there were 23 members but this later increased to 27.  The Club was admitted to the membership of Rotary International on the 10th August 1962.
