Resilience Montreal Update We are raising money for an industrial dryer for Resilience Montreal, a day shelter that serves the homeless in Cabot Square, situated on the corner of Atwater and Sainte Catherine, offering food, a place to sleep, clean clothes, and support to anyone in need. Resilience Montreal is a collaboration between the Native Women’s Shelter of Montreal and Nazareth Community. It is a low-barrier service open to everyone, providing food and shelter as well as mental health and medical support services and access to a multitude of other resources. We appreciate donations for the dryer and will issue a tax receipt for a donation of $50 or over. We raised $27,000 for Meals on Angels' Wings including $1250 MNA Kathleen Weil + $5000 CN, $2000 M & R Goodman Foundation, $2000 Pharmascience, Testimonials: “I am writing on behalf of the staff of the Emergency Department of St Mary's Hospital. These are trying times, when the faith and strength of the most steadfast can be tested. We feel exhausted and alone, abandoned, as if the whole world has forgotten us, wants nothing to do with us. Then there is a call from the security desk ‘Delivery for you!!’ And there is the most welcome of sights, a meal, hot and ready, for all of us to share. It says more than ‘Come and Eat.’ It says, ‘Someone Cares. Someone Remembers. You are NOT Alone.’ It gives us the strength to go on for one more hour, one more day, one more week, because of all the people who need us.” At the Jewish General "Morale boosting" Rotary Club of Montreal West & NDG - Celebrating 80 Years of service to our Community Our Projects: - Special Olympics South West Island
