Malawi in October...

Jace presented a slide show and video from his trip to Malawi in October. He visited the orphanage where the club sent money in the spring and was pleased when the students remembered him. The school goes to Grade 9, higher than most and is planning to add higher grades soon.

Jace shared a microcredit story that he was involved in with a local photographer whose camera had gone missing during a riot; Jace is helping him to regain his business.

Meeting Notes:

Jace started the meeting at 7:18 to make up for the early start the week earlier. Dan introduced two guests, Fred and Anna Marie Clark, who have just moved to the city and are looking at joining one of the clubs.
Members were thanked for volunteering to help with the Salvation Army kettles; there are still a few times available.
