Aahhh - The luck of the Irish...
Yes, it was a St. Patty's Day theme this past Tuesday, and the little leprechauns showed up to make sure everyone steered clear of the pot of gold...
There was a fun little scavenger hunt with many talents being exposed...Irish jigs, creative drawing, juggling and some limericks to boot. Kambi broke the tie breaker for the first pot of gold by demonstrating superior juggling skills with authentic Irish potatoes.
Corrie latched onto the second pot of gold by winning the whole pot of day money ($38).
On a more serious note, the International Committee is going to be looking into Shelter Boxes for Japan, and this will be discussed at the next meeting.
Also, on a sad note, Gerry's mom has recently passed. We pass on our condolences, thoughts and prayers to Gerry and her family.
