• Clare reported that the scholarship for MHC has been approved and will be given in the fall.
  • The Outdoor Classroom project had a fundraising meeting last week.
  • The Dictionary project is looking good: all 3 school districts (PRRD, MHCBE and SD76) are on board.

Meeting Notes:

 

  • Stampede Raffle tickets are available for advance selling (see Dan or Keith). Also the sign-up sheet is on the website.

  • Linda Mueller’s resignation was accepted with regret.
  • Motion made to form a Trail and Trees committee tasked with being the
    liaison with MHC, fundraising and all issues re: this project.
  • Syl walked a Mile in Her Shoes, and raised $450, for a total of about $9400 for the day. Awesome!
  • Glen reminds us of the Rotary Foundation giving opportunity (TRFCanada.org) – online, or give him a cheque
  • Jace jumped out of a perfectly good plane for a Schizophrenia fund raiser. From the sounds of it, he had fun!
  • Next year’s theme for Rotary: Peace Through Service
