A Business Meeting to Remember

Karen Blewett, Community Development Officer with Alberta Culture and Tourism joined us once again and facilitated a final group discussion on the recently finalized Strategic Plan by working with the Committees on the further development of Action Plans and Tactics for achieving their assigned Goals.     
 
Meeting Notes:
  • The first part of the meeting was a business meeting when 6 motions from the May 26/15 Board Meeting were approved by the Members. Please see May 26/15 Board Meeting Minutes for details
  • Motion by Karen C to accept/adopt the Strategic Plan for 2015/18 as presented. Seconded by Milvia. Carried.
  • Reminder that June 19th is the deadline to register for the board induction dinner on June 30th.
  • Keith Walker thanked Karen B. for leading the group on strategic planning.
  • Sergeant at Arms Claire Lindsay drummed up happy dollars from happy members.
  • Les Scholly was the winner of the 50/50 ticket but didn’t draw the right card. The ace of spades is still for the taking.
  • Tari and Chris presented the group a Rotary banner from the Fairfield Connecticut USA Club.
