"To Do Good in the World"

The mission of The Rotary Foundation is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.

The purpose of The Rotary Foundation (Canada) is to facilitate the receipt of donations, gifts and bequests from Canadian Rotarians and non Rotarians on behalf of The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.

Program: TRF Chair Glen Christensen  - Rotary Foundation Update

  • Please consider giving $100.00 this year to the Rotary Int Foundation – you can give on-line, give monthly, or send annual cheque. This year’s theme is $100.00 US from every Rotarian. Every Rotarian Every Year (EVEY!)
  • Our club has 15 Paul Harris Level Donors ($1000.00 US) and 3 multiple contributors ( $3000.00 US)
  • District 5360 was approved for 12 of 23 grants submitted to Rotary Int Foundation. Sunrise was approved a $2500.00 grant for this year. (Mexican Schools Project) 
  • Grant application process for INT projects is now on-line. This allows the Foundation to process more grants.
  • June 14th is the deadline for cheques this year.
