This morning’s guest speaker was Marijana Anjcic from Saamis Immigration Services Association. Saamis is a non-profit government assisted program that provides programs and services to new immigrants and refugees.
They offer many programs to help immigrants integrate and adjust to their new country. They offer assistance with everything from banking, school registration, preparing for job interviews, housing, health care, and transportation, to name just a few.
Some of the courses they offer are, English as a second language, budgeting, parenting, computer literacy, citizenship preparation, etc. For a complete list of what is available please check out the website at www.Saamisimmigration.ca
