Rotary in 2015
President Keith commenced the meeting at 7:17am by welcoming all guests and fellow Rotarians.
The Program began with the induction of our newest Rotarian Courteney De Roo by Petra our Membership Director.
The induction was followed by President Keith's introduction our guest speaker Denise Henning President Medicine Hat College
Denise is originally from Oklahoma, she has a dual citizenship and has been in Canada since 2004. Denise presented a summary of the strategic 5 year plan for the College. She also advised that the College is celebrating 50 years. The complete outline of the Power Point presentation will be provided to our club and will be uploaded to our website upon receipt. President Keith presented Denise with a Medalta pottery mug as a gift of appreciation for attending our meeting and providing us with an informative presentation.
Meeting Notes:
- Glen provided the Club with a "Rotary Foundation" moment.
- Other announcements made by President Keith were: Strategic Planning session will be January 31 at 9 am at the college. All members are encouraged to attend
- Monthly board meeting will be held next Tuesday January 27 at 7 pm at the College. Members are welcome
- April missed the winning pot by one card!!!!
