It’s been talked about, debated, longed for and desperately needed – now it's happening. The Medicine Hat Regional Event Centre is a reality.

The Event Centre is something we all share, along with a pride in our community and a desire to have a place where every seat is a great seat, that’s accessible for all, LEED Silver certified with a financial and operating sustainability. You can learn more at http://www.mheventcentre.ca/

Mayor Clugston presented an overview of the Fundraising initiative for the Event Centre. $10 Million will be raised through a variety of initiatives that include (Brick by Brick, gifts of cash, seat donation program and a user fee at the gate)

Mayor Clugston presented a promotional video called “Launching Stardom” … question and answer period ensued.

President Keith thanked the Mayor for attending our meeting and sharing this project initiative with us.
