REDI Enterprises Society - Putting Pride to Work

Karen Gingras, Executive Director from REDI Enterprises visited the Sunrise Club to provide members with an update of what's happening at REDI since Karen took over approximately 6 months ago.             
 
Karen spoke about the fund raising and social profit programs at REDI such as the Bottle Depot and Shredding. She likes the culture at REDI. She explained the number of ways they help people including time management, money management and a partnership with the City Police service.  More info on REDI can be sourced on their website http://www.redi.ca/ 
 
Meeting Notes:
  • Sergeant at Arms Claire Lindsay drummed up happy dollars from happy members.
  • Wayne Smith was the winner of the 50/50 ticket but didn’t draw the right card. The ace of spades is still for the taking.
  • Next Week December 15:Breakfast at Moxie’s.  $10 will be donated to the consolidated Charity of choice for the group.
  • NO MEETINGS December 22 OR December 29 - NEXT is January 5, 2016
