Discussion

Induction of our newest Members, motion

1.     Milvia Bauman and Darren Folkersen were inducted as Medicine Hat Sunrise’s newest members.

2.     Motion was made and carried “That the Medicine Hat Sunrise Rotary Club sign the Declaration

Of Gift agreement with the MHC Foundation to secure naming rights for the Trail and Trees Initiative.  Funding

committed being $100,000 over 5 years, recognizing that the club set $25,000 aside earlier this year for an

initial legacy contribution to be determined.” 

Discussion included:  maintenance of trail is MHC responsibility; stampede funds and casino funds are

eligible for this project; there is a need for another fund raiser; there is possibility for matching funds/grant

from the government

The Rotary Foundation wants you…talk more to Glen Christensen
