Legacy Project 2.0 - UPDATE

Club Member Craig Elder was our speaker, and he spoke about the survey findings the Committee reviewed regarding our Club Legacy Project

Craig highlighted the following:

1. Funding - $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 range, which could involve multiple payments over a short time frame of five years. We would begin to earmark a percentage of Viva Las Vegas funds, and set aside in a segregated restricted account.

2. Project - a capital project with naming rights, for good community visibility.

3. Focus - Children and families, which seems to be our club culture.

4. Scoring system for a project to support, needs to be created. It was also noted, that we now have a potential lump sum to kick the fund off with.

Meeting Notes:

President Jace (yup, his second meeting) spoke a little about this years Rotary Theme and what it means to Rotary for the coming year - "Reach Within to Embrace Humanity".
Dan reminded us that there are still volunteer spots for the Stampede Raffle, that need to be filled. Dan also has pre-sell raffle tickets available.
Glen was drawn but no luck on the Ace of Spades - Not too may cards remaining!
