President Craig recapped the vision of RI President Ron D. Burton in choosing this years Rotary International Theme.

Meeting Notes:

  • The Chair asked, "do you as members enjoy being here?" Communication is key, with new members as well as current members.

  • One of our Members has a loss in their Family. In memory of Brian, the club will consider making a donation of support toward the Hospice Society.

  • Flood relief was discussed; Rotary District is talking extensively about flood relief. The president recommends funding through the Community Foundation. Community Committee charged with discussing cash donation toward flood relief efforts. The Community Foundation of Southeast Alberta was discussed as a valuable partner in any cash donation made.

  • District Project grants were discussed;  Rotary district grant assigned to our club for Mexican School Project for latrine building... Sunrise Club grant app scored highest of all eleven submitted. MHC scholarship was also approved.

  • The club is looking for another cashier volunteer. Kambi has since volunteered

  • Next Week, Classification Talk by Sarah McNally - Jace won the draw - queen of clubs was drawn. beep. bop. Boing.
