Club Finances and other stuff...

After breakfast, Treasurer Brad I. was called to the podium to give us a “riveting” presentation of the June 2012 year end Financial Statements. For those Members unfortunately unable to attend, a copy of the Statements has been saved in the Club Documents section of our site.

Motion to accept the Financial Statement was made by Brad, seconded by Jace – carried.

Pres. Sharla brought up the initiative for the Rotary Peace conference marathon in September at Waterton Glacier Park for the district. It is suggested that all donate 2 hours of reflection on exploration of peace. Sharla is planning on attending the conference.

There is a Committee sign up sheet circulating – everyone is asked to please sign up for a committee for this year.

Fred updated us on the dictionaries – they were ordered today, will be needing volunteers when we take them to the schools.

He also has a DVD on Rotary World Health Network – will be showing it at a meeting in September.

Jace was stand in Sergeant at Arms. Collected fines and good news items.

Card draw winner was Glen C – 8 clubs – carried over again.
