A Legacy in the Making...

Myrna Stark representing the McMan Youth, Family and Community Service Association in Medicine Hat gave the Club an update on where things are at with respect to the possibility of a Detox/Treatment Centre being planned for Medicine Hat. McMan has assumed the lead role in determining the viability & sustainability of this project. As this was a Legacy Project identified and partially driven by our Club, the update was timely, interesting and informative.

Myrna let Club members know that they are working their way through the "study" phase of the Project courtesy of funding from the City of Medicine Hat through a Community Development Grant and that they are halfway through the 4 public information forums planned. The remaining 2 sessions are being held at Chinook Village July 7th 7:00PM - 9:00PM and July 8th 9:00am - 11:00AM. Myrna responded to a number of questions from the Group and was thanked for her Presentation.
