Saamis Rotary Club Park Wins Provincial Award

The Saamis Rotary Club has won the Premier's Award for Excellence in the development of the Saamis Rotary park which is accessible to children of all abilities.

The award was presented by Pam Wagner, on behalf of the Premier's Council on the Status of Persons with Disabilities and was accepted on behalf of the club by Rotarian, Lyle Walsh, who was the project lead for the bulk of the park's development. Awards were also made to the City and the Lions Club for their development of accessible parks.
