Sod-turning Ceremony at Saamis Rotary Park

On Thursday, October 21, Rotary District 5360 Governor, Al Bergsma performed the sod-turning ceremony initiating the final stages of the park with the construction of washrooms and a splash park.

President Phyllis gave a brief history of the park and then invited the District Governor to perform the sod-turning ceremony. A large contingent was on hand to witness the event which was videoed and reported by CHAT 6&3.
