Saamis Rotary conducted its 4th E-waste roundup on May 12 and once again the residents of Medicine Hat responded in force with over 80 tonnes of electronic waste.

The club was assisted by a variety of community groups including PACE Rotary Club and volunteers from REDI Enterprises, McCoy High School, Medicine Hat Rattlers teams and a number of other individuals who wanted to participate because they believe that it is a worthy endeavour. Medicine Hat News and My 96 radio station gave the event extensive coverage. The City of Medicine Hat also supported the club's efforts. A special thanks goes to Brian Robinson, owner of BRC Construction who made space available for two c-cans prior to the day.
