The Saamis Rotary Club's third annual e-waste roundup - in conjunction with many partners - has been hailed as another extraordinary success.

Held on May 14 at the old Wal-Mart parking lot, this year the people of Medicine Hat dropped off nearly 1400 computer monitors, 938 TVs, 1200 CPU's, 125 Laptops, 744 printers and two boxes of cell-phones. Residents began lining up at 7.30 for the 8.00a.m. start and the last car left at 4.30. The day was the culmination of a month of collections from local seniors, school boards and businesses.
