Our current leader Bob Booth who has achieved so much over the last 19 months regrettably submitted his resignation as Club President. Bob has been a significant driver behind the club and many projects would never have been achieved without his valuable contributions. Bob is always there to assist and support our community from raising money for the defibrillator at GBH - and more recently the funding grant for the installation of 6 defibrillators into the Grafton CBD, cooking up BBQ snags, attending functions, selling the most RAFFLE tickets ever, marshalling events, organising guest speakers. Bob should be proud of all his achievements as we are - THANK YOU BOB for all your efforts. Bob will remain as a regular member Bob has advised that he will continue with projects he is currently managing (such as the CBD Defibrillators) In accordance with Bylaw 3 Section 3 (which provides that a vacancy in the board shall be filled by action of the remaining directors) current Vice President and President Elect for 2020/21 Robert Blanchard will be noted as now acting in the vacant role. Current President Elect for 2021/22 Lee Taylor will now be acting in the Vice President role. Both Robert and myself want to Congratulate Bob and know we have massive boots to fill and hope we can do a good job. We look forward to our new roles and will be seeking the invaluable advice from our mentor Bob. |
