This is a new Black-Tie Fundraising Event during Clarence Valley Council’s 2020 Plunge Festival in April, with proceeds going to the Cathedral Church Organ Restoration Project and BackTrack Youth Works (programs that work with troubled kids from the Clarence Valley & New England Areas). A documentary about BackTrack Youth Works was recently shown on SBS TV.

Arrive 6:30pm at the Cathedral for a welcome glass of bubbly, then a 3 course meal prepared by local Chef Erin Brown (from Vines Café) served in amongst cabaret style interludes by the Clarence Valley Orchestra. There will be dancing towards the end of the night with jazz, rock & disco music till 11:00pm. Fine wines from the Barossa Valley & Western Australia, with Boutique Beer from Byron Bay will be on sale during the night.
Local Businesses can also contribute and sponsor the event by way of a $25-$35+ Gift Card (Service or Product) placed on the Gift Tree, for ticket holders to purchase during the night (see invitation letters for more details).
A Great Story:
One of the boys who was in the recent SBS Documentary, has actually served a little time in jail as a troubled youth, however is back on his way to a better life because of the BackTrack Youth Works Programs and is now actually working as an electrician on our new Clarence Correctional Centre just outside of Grafton.
